Sustainability

Driving a sustainable future, beyond the technology

We treat sustainability as more than the engineering metrics of our equipment. The company is built around one mission: speeding up the transition to a net zero carbon economy.

Cutting emissions where it is hardest

Some sectors cannot simply be electrified. Heavy manufacturing, chemicals and long haul transport need fuels and feedstocks that electricity alone cannot replace.

We deliver high efficiency green hydrogen and decentralised circular energy systems. That gives those hard to abate sectors a practical route to cutting their greenhouse gas emissions.

Built around global goals

Our projects are designed to support national hydrogen roadmaps and international climate targets, aligned directly with two of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

How we hold ourselves to it

We hold every part of the business to environmental, social and governance standards, so that each project leaves lasting socioeconomic value where it is built.

  • Green collar employment

Creating skilled local jobs in the regions where our projects are built.

  • Community capability

Building capability in the communities around each site, not just on it.

  • Resource stewardship

Using land, water and materials responsibly across the life of a system.

  • Supply chain transparency

Holding our suppliers to standards we are willing to publish.

In a project

A closed-loop, zero-waste model

Project Cendana is designed around the same principle: biogenic CO₂ captured rather than vented, digestate pelletised for local bio-fertiliser, and reaction water and tail gases recycled, so every by-product is recaptured, repurposed or monetised.

The Cendana closed loopPalm waste and energy crops enter the site. Dry anaerobic digestion drives a 10 MW behind the meter power island, which powers a 10 MW pressurised alkaline electrolysis plant. Green hydrogen from electrolysis is combined with biogenic carbon dioxide captured from digestion in a modular Power-to-Liquid synthesis unit, producing drop-in eSAF and renewable naphtha. Surplus biogenic carbon dioxide is cryogenically liquefied for the food and beverage market. Digestate is pelletised for bio-fertiliser, and reaction water and tail gases are recycled back into the process.Palm wasteEnergy crops01Dry AnaerobicDigestion10 MW power islandbehind the meter, 24/702Electrolysisand PtL synthesis10 MW pressurisedalkaline · green H₂Biogenic CO₂ capturedDrop-in eSAFRenewable naphtha03Liquefied merchant CO₂Over 93,000 tonnes annually (projected)04 · ZERO WASTEDigestate pelletised for bio-fertiliser · reaction water and tail gases recycled
