Aurion+ is led by people who have spent their careers offshore and on site rather than at a distance from it. Between them they have run marine and drilling operations, directed subsea inspection programmes, assessed the environmental impact of offshore projects, and taken construction work from funding through to handover.

That operational grounding is what shapes the company: clean hydrogen judged by whether it can actually be built, financed and run.

Mike brings more than forty years in the engineering and energy sectors, with projects spanning the North Sea, Kazakhstan and Malaysia. His career blends deep offshore experience with humanitarian engineering, including reconstruction work in post conflict Iraq.

He led the strategic shift toward green energy that gave rise to Aurion+, founding the company as an independent business focused on renewable and hydrogen infrastructure across the UK and Malaysia.

As Chief Executive he sets the company's direction, pairing decades of hard won operational judgement with a clear conviction that clean hydrogen can be delivered at scale, at pace and at cost.

Vicmel has thirty five years in marine engineering across general cargo, tankers and container ships, alongside fifteen years in the offshore oil field working with semisubmersible drilling units, jack ups and floating storage operations.

His expertise covers stability control, drilling, health and safety operations, personnel management and commissioning supervision, grounding the company in operational discipline.

As President he keeps that discipline at the centre of how Aurion+ builds and operates, so that every system we deliver is safe, reliable and ready for the field.

Ben has led offshore projects across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America and Europe, with a specialism in environmental impact assessment and monitoring.

He has directed remotely operated vehicle programmes including wellhead inspections in the Caspian Sea, platform inspections in the Persian and Mexican Gulfs, and salvage operations across the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific.

Leading Aurion+ across the UK and Europe, he brings that field experience to the development of offshore wind and hydrogen, keeping environmental care at the heart of every project.

Oliver Phelan

Oliver is a certified construction inspector with around twenty years managing projects across the commercial and energy sectors. He worked as a surveyor in Malaysia between 2015 and 2018.

Since 2019 he has focused on UK development projects, leading funding, oversight and sales facilitation. He joined Aurion+ in January 2025.

Based across Asia, he connects Aurion+ with partners and communities in the region, guiding projects from first feasibility through to delivery on the ground.
